The LAKE COUNTY WINE ALLIANCE is a cooperative marketing alliance composed of Lake County wineries, winegrape growers, vineyard owners, related businesses, and community supporters. Formed in 2000, the Lake County Wine Alliance is a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organization operated under the guidance of an eight-member volunteer board of directors.

2008 LAKE COUNTY WINE AUCTION
September 20, 2008 – Ninth annual Lake County Wine Auction, Buckingham Golf & Country Club, Kelseyville. 5:00 p.m. Gala charity event for nonprofit organizations and agencies that benefit the Arts, Health and Community of Lake County. Live and silent auctions, wine and food, live music; black tie encouraged. $100 per person.

Additional activities scheduled for September 19 include cooking demonstration and luncheon with Chef John Ash, and winemaker dinners at several Lake County wineries.

Congressman Mike Thompson chairs the 2008 Wine Auction; winegrower Andy Beckstoffer is the master of ceremonies. Wine experts Archie McLaren and Jed Steele are the auctioneers.
